Senior RF Optimization Engineer specializing in 4G/5G RF Optim, network Planning, NDO parameter tuning, drive test analysis, and Layer 3 troubleshooting.

Radio Frequency (RF) optimization keeps mobile networks running. It helps subscribers get clear calls and fast data. My mission as an engineer is to balance coverage, capacity, and quality. I have optimized mobile networks for over 20 years. I work across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G New Radio (NR) technologies. I have deep technical skills in Nokia SRAN, Ericsson, and Huawei systems.

Good RF optimization requires physical and logical adjustments. Physical tuning manages antenna mechanical and electrical downtilts. It also manages azimuths and heights. This shapes cell boundaries and reduces interference. Logical tuning focuses on parameter changes. I optimize handover thresholds and cell selection. This ensures smooth handovers when users move between cells.

I perform deep Layer 3 signaling diagnostics and drive-test analysis. I use standard tools like TEMS Discovery and Actix Analyzer. I also use Nemo and Atoll software. These tools help me find the root causes of call drops. I decode signaling streams to fix link failures. I configure inter-RAT features like CSFB and SRVCC. This maintains voice call stability across LTE and legacy networks.

My career includes extensive international work. During my assignment in Togo, I managed the swap to Nokia SRAN. This included 4G PCI planning and troubleshooting. For Africell Angola, I worked on site shakedowns. I also deployed STIRC to reduce network interference. In both projects, I created rapid templates to restore performance quickly.

In the era of 5G, optimization is more complex. Modern networks use massive MIMO and active beamforming. These antennas direct signals to active users. This improves network speeds and reduces noise. I design robust 5G configurations. My work ensures high-quality network performance. I merge traditional engineering with modern automation.
